YALA NATIONAL PARK TRAVELING STORY
TRAVELING STORY OF SRI LANKA
The second day’s story is Yala National Pank and others Places.
Before the start of the second day’s story did not say how I would book all hotel car activities, how I booked and saved all the excavations at the end of the fourth season, I hope those who plan themselves will have some benefit.
Today, the 23rd of January, the day before, that is, the evening of the 22nd of January, until nine o’clock at night, we wandered the streets of Nuwara Eliya, Oli, and then had dinner at a restaurant and returned to the hotel.
The next day
we have plans to go to Yala National Park so we have to start a little early in the morning from Nuwara Eliya. Our day started with a complimentary breakfast in the morning, a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast where chicken curry with fruity rice cakes was all about fresh fruit with tea or coffee. In this context, let me say that in Sri Lanka, the use of eggs during breakfast is very low, except for the only four-star five-star hotel, usually you will not find egg items for breakfast.
After breakfast,
we packed up our bags in the morning and went out again. Our destination is Yala National Park. The distance from Nuwara Eliya to Yala is 185 kilometers. three hours is so beautiful and systematic. But it will take a little longer because we are on the way to Lake Gregory. Sita Elia, Ella (this is also a small hill station on the way to Ravana Falls. , See Ravana Falls then go to Yala National Park. There is nothing to describe the beauty of any spot separately. I hope you can guess by looking at the pictures.
Yala National Park
By the time we reached Yala National Park, around 12:30 pm, when entering the park, you would have to take a separate safari car, which I will mention at the end of the fourth episode.
These safari cars are usually eight seater. Since the two of us went, we reserved the whole car. There is no sharing system here. This safari in Yala National Park is basically a leopard safari, but on a normal journey you will see lots of elephants, migratory birds, crocodiles, peacocks, deer, bison all. Although it was January, the temperature inside the park was 35 degrees. It is important to carry plenty of water and sunscreen lotion at work.
It is not allowed to enter the park with any kind of food.
you can take a packet of small biscuits, a packet of chips, provided your garbage is brought back with you. Not just Safari Park, the whole Sri Lankan street is very clean. It will take up to three hours to cover the entire park, and upon returning, you can spend fifteen minutes at Yala Sibich, the park closes at five o’clock, that is, all the cars have to start their journey to get out of the park at four o’clock. This time is ideal from 4:30 to 5:15 in the setting sun and C-Beach is a perfect place for a small photo session.
After leaving the park,
we arrived at Katara Gamma Hotel around 6.30 pm. We stayed at Hotel Mandara Rosen. In this regard, you can find both good hotels and resorts right next to the National Park or within a distance of 5 to 5 km, but the room rate is a bit higher. Our hotel is thirty-five kilometers away from National Park. we reached the hotel within a 5 to 5 minute drive. Welcome drink with fresh lemon sorbet and then check in the room and we made it fresh.
If you google it, you can see the picture of the hotel and you will understand that it is a five star property.
After refreshing,
we chose to spend two hours in the evening, the hotel’s rooftop bar being too old and many juniors, so I didn’t go to more details, then we usually finished our day at dinner at the hotel restaurant at ten o’clock. There is also plenty of continental and oriental food as usual. Lots of crab, beef, pork, lamb, sea food items scattered on the menu card,
My personal opinion is that as a five star hotel, we think the price of food menu is low.Today’s story ends here, but if we don’t name one, our experience of the whole day will be incomplete. He is our charioteer Mr. Shanta.
Tomorrow our destination is Bentota.

An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
